To work on various Ruby on Rails development projects for a sports related site.

This is a full time, work from home position.

We are on the look out for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join our team and assist in the continuing development of a site that is starting to gain traction in a growing market.
We need your help to take it to the next level.

This role will involve working closely with the project manager and other team members. You will be assisting in taking ideas from the conception stage and making them a reality, along with making improvements to current functions. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, developing new functionality, improving upon existing coding, deploying yours and other dev's work to the production environment. 

We are a growing company and focus on having quick iterations and regular changes to the site based on customer feedback.

Please note that candidates will be required to complete a short sample project upon progressing to the interview stage to evaluate their capabilities.


Technical Skills (Essential):

Ruby on Rails (v3.1+) & Ruby (v1.9+)
MySQL (v5+) database
HTML5 & CSS3
Javascript & jQuery
Git distributed version control system
Test driven development using Rspec.

Additional Skills (Desired):
Experience with Github and gitflow
PostgreSQL
PSD to HTML slicing

This is a work from home position so you must have access to all the office tools to effectively tele-commute
