We’re seeking an experienced senior Ruby/Rails developer to help update, manage, and grow our backend application infrastructure.  Responsibilities will include optimizing our existing platform as well as leading the implementation of new backend capabilities and features.  This is a social app, so experience with scalable web services and social media is ideal.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years min of professional hands-on Ruby experience
  • Detailed knowledge of, and experience with, application and server performance and scalability
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Must be available to work in the greater Denver area

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience using and maintaining a PostgreSQL database environment
  • Experience with deploying and managing applications on Heroku
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
  • Good sense of humor
