Job Description/Responsibilities:  You will work with an agile team of web developers building both external and internal facing web applications. You will participate in all aspects of the process including design integration, server-side development, database development and deployment. The right candidate will be passionate about web development and learning systems, and be a team player that is motivated to learn and grow.

Requirements:

Ability to:

  • Build high performance, scalable web applications
  • Performance and tuning of existing web applications
  • Work within an agile team environment
  • Design and build web services

Education/Training:  4+ years prior professional web development experience

Skills Needed:  Front End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and proficiency in Ruby on Rails

While not a requirement, understanding and skills in the following technologies will be considered a plus:

  • Java
  • SQL (SQL Server)
  • Sass
  • CoffeeScript
